How do I keep myself motivated?

This question keeps haunting me all the time. I am not sure anymore what I want to do? what I want to say through my work? Do I have to say anything through my work? One day I am painting flowers the other day I want to head back to printmaking studio and work on new plates..just playing around with textures and different shades of black. Almost always I find myself too lonely in my art world. I am sure it happens to all the stay at home mothers who are also artists, or is it just me? Nahhh..I am sure there are others out there who are in the same boat as me.
So mid October already..better produce a good amount of work before this year comes to its end.

Artist Date # 01

For long I have struggled to find time for doing something purely for myself. Recently I read the famous book Artist Way and got really inspired by the idea of keeping an artistic date for myself every week or so. It took me quite a while to accept the fact that I do need to go out more often to places where I feel energised, inspired and lifted. Going to see the beautiful art pieces at the national gallery of Victoria NGV was one such step for me.
